On Friday night, 14th October, the Year 11 hosted the first inaugural ART Folio EXPO in the Art Department for their friends and family.
This event was catered and a time for students to celebrate their achievements and share their visual stories as presented on the Folio Boards.
On Monday morning we opened the Art Expo to the whole school – a wider audience - to visit and view, and both events were well supported.
The Theme for the Year was: CCS On a journey of identifying and documenting * Cultural Identity
* Culture (Christianity) * Contained my Story. Brainstorming, discovering and assembling different objects that represented my Life Stories.
The Manawatu Standard reporter and photographer both enjoyed their time with the students, finding out about their stories, and documenting the classes responses to viewing the works. Read their article on stuff.co.nz

Some of the most entertaining and talented music students performed at our last period of term assembly. Clad in mufti, and embracing the festive atmosphere, the performances were wonderfully memorable.
